When you’re running out the door… and hear “I’m hungry!”
Right…snack. What can we grab quickly? It’s bound to happen, so having a list of quick ideas at your disposal = brilliant mom.
Look at you, so prepared with your quick and easy snack ideas!
Introducing.. Quick and healthy ‘On-the-go’ Nut-Butter Apples.
It’s a mouthful. A pretty tasty one though! These are as easy as opening up a fruit by the foot, and have a lot more nutrition packed into them!
Step 1: Chop the apple in half.
Step 2: Cut out the core.
Step 3: Take a knife with a blob of nut-butter, and fill the apple center.
Step 4: Leave house on time with a kiddo who isn’t going to be starving half way through grocery shopping because the fruit by the foot just didn’t stick around that long in his stomach.
Shall we join hands and sing the hallelujah chorus now? …Or do you want to finish grocery shopping first…

I know this doesn’t really need a recipe, but i’m adding one in case you want to toss it onto your mealplan on the prepear app. That way, when it creates your grocery list for you, the apples are included.
You don’t use the prepear app?? Goodness sakes, my friend. We should fix that, pronto. It makes meal planning so very much easier, and it’s FREE! …zero dollars.
So do yourself a favour and download it! And then, add these so they can magically appear on your grocery list at the click of one little button.
It’s pretty awesome, Prepare is.
