Oatmeal porridge is definitely a favourite breakfast around here. Easy, quick, and can be made a plethora of ways. (Apricot coconut oatmeal anyone?)

Healthy apple ‘marshmallow’ oatmeal

Description
Healthy dried apple rings double as ‘marshmallows’ in this honey sweetened oatmeal recipe! Kid approved, quick, and easy!
Ingredients
- 1 cup large flake oats (look for gluten free if necessary)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or alternative)
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 T honey (or to taste)
- 1/4 cup diced dried apple rings
- 1 T coconut oil
Instructions
- Dice apple rings.
- Add all ingredients into a pot and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the liquids are absorbed and the oatmeal is creamy.
- Serve and enjoy!
