Description

Healthy dried apple rings double as ‘marshmallows’ in this honey sweetened oatmeal recipe! Kid approved, quick, and easy!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup large flake oats (look for gluten free if necessary)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or alternative)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 T honey (or to taste)
  • 1/4 cup diced dried apple rings
  • 1 T coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Dice apple rings.
  2. Add all ingredients into a pot and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the liquids are absorbed and the oatmeal is creamy.
  3. Serve and enjoy!
