Quick, easy, fruit loaded, and kid loved!
Step 1: Put berries in blender
Step 2: Add a little maple syrup
Step 3: Blend!
Step 4: Enjoy a syrup made of fruit instead of having your little one drown his pancakes in straight syrup!
(Bonus= much cheaper as well!)
Extra bonus- this is an extremely easy recipe to get your kids involved with. Even the littlest ones can help add ingredients and push the blender button with some direction! And if she makes it, she’s more likely to eat it 😀
If you have 2 minutes and some berries & maple syrup (or cherries are delicious as well), you’re set!
Some of our favourite combos for berries (ok, fruit) are:
-Mixed field berry- cherry
-Any berry by itself
Quick and easy blender berry syrup for healthy kids.Reduce the amount of sugar your kids eat!
- 2 cups berries (fresh or defrosted)
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (or to taste)
- Add berries and maple syrup to blender.
- Blend until smooth!
*Will keep several days, refrigerated, or freezes well!
