So, not s’mores kind of marshmallows… Get your little helper into action, having her snip up these ‘marshmallows’ for you out of dried apple rings like the fairies do in the story (below). 🙂
Oatmeal porridge is definitely a favourite breakfast around here. Easy, quick, and can be made a plethora of ways. (Apricot coconut oatmeal anyone?)

A tiny tale
Meet snow fairy Meran and her sister Neva in this fun, wintery tale. Join the 2 fairy girls in the kitchen as they learn that oatmeal porridge is only boring if they let it be!

- 1 cup large flake oats (look for gluten free if necessary)
- 1 cup milk (dairy or alternative)
- 1 cup water
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 T honey (or to taste)
- ¼ cup diced dried apple rings
- 1 T coconut oil
- Dice apple rings.
- Add all ingredients into a pot and heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the liquids are absorbed and the oatmeal is creamy.
- Serve and enjoy!
